Hainesville Trick-or-Treating – Sunday, October 29th, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Leave your front outside lights on if you wish to invite trick-or-treaters. Village Hayrides (two drivers) will be available as follows: Centennial Dr. (Cranberry Lake) behind Village Hall, 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Brittany Park (Misty Hill by water tower) 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. North area of Deer Point Trails (where Washington St. bike path entrance intersects East Big Horn Dr.) 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Antler Park (Deerview Dr., south area, Deer Point Trails) 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Signs will be posted. Please drive slowly and keep an extra watchful eye for trick-or-treaters during this period.

Leaf vacuuming services for Single Family Homes will begin on the week of October 23rd, 2023 and go through the week of November 28th, 2023. INSTRUCTIONS: Leaves should be raked into a pile within 3 feet of the curb, but remaining off of the street. Do not mix large tree branches, grass, or brush with your pile of leaves as these items will damage the vacuum truck. Please be aware the due to the volume of leaves any particular week, the leaf collection truck may not arrive at your home the same time each week. Pickup will start at 6:30 a.m. and will be scheduled for Mondays. If the weather does not cooperate and there is bad weather on a Monday, they will be picked up another day. The final yard waste pick up for the season will be Friday, December 1st, 2023
