Hainesville, in conjunction with SWALCO, will hold a Compost Give-Away Event in the parking lot behind the Hainesville Village Hall on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or until all the compost is gone.
To ensure everyone has a chance to acquire compost, each household will be limited to 20 gallons. Please bring your own pails or buckets. Shovels will be provided. You may return after 2:30 p.m. to acquire additional compost should any be left.
