OVERNIGHT PARKING BAN IN PLACE – Since the beginning of Illinois’ shelter in place order, the Village of Hainesville has not strictly enforced the overnight street parking ban.  We recognized that with residents not going to work and students not going off to school, that it would more than likely result in more cars than usual needing a place to park.
Now that many have returned to work and students are off to college, we will, as of September 1, 2020 begin enforcing the parking ban.  This means that, with few exceptions, vehicles may not be parked on the street between the hours of 2 a.m. until 6 a.m.  If, the situation changes we will re-evaluate this decision. If you have any questions regarding this, please call the Village Hall.
The Village Hall is closed.  The staff regularly checks voicemail and email.  For emergency water issues call the police non-emergency number at 847-223-2341. We strongly encourage residents to sign up for direct debit for utility bill payments. The application can be found on Water & Utilities page.
