Trustee Jack Chynoweth

Originally from Michigan, my wife Kristine and I moved to Lake County, Illinois in 2006. We’ve always liked Hainesville, and 2013 we bought a house there. The moment Kristine and I walked into the house we knew we were home. Kristine and I do an annual neighborhood coat drive for the Vietnam veterans, and have organized several block parties.

I am an Air Force veteran where I served in the 823rd Engineering Squadron, and I was honorably discharged in 1991. I was self-employed for over 15 years as a building contractor. I left that behind to become an Estate Caretaker, a position that I held for 8 years. In 2017 I was offered a position as a Construction Superintendent for a firm out of Chicago. It is the most demanding position I have ever held, but I embrace the challenge. I earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and a Degree in Project management.

Hainesville is a beautiful community with a wholesome history, and Kristine and I are truly blessed to have ended up here. I am looking forward to serving our great community.
